A sensory experience
Direction:
Karina Mora y Gustavo Hernández
Synopsis:
Pupilas is a sensory stage experience that arises from the encounter between University Dance and Okarina Sensory Theater. The work invites the audience to immerse themselves in a poetic universe where dreams become the guiding thread of an intimate and collective journey, exploring memory, perception, and emotions from an unconventional perspective. Through an interdisciplinary language, the work also incorporates moments inspired by the life experience of a deaf person in society, highlighting their forms of communication, perception, and relationship with the environment. "Pupilas" is an open invitation to inhabit the space and enjoy through all the senses, where all bodilyities and ways of perceiving are welcome.
Tips:
· During part of the performance, a device will be used over the eyes that will not allow you to see anything and must be worn to experience it for a set amount of time.
· During all performances, there will be a sign language interpreter. · It is recommended to attend wearing comfortable clothing and low shoes.
· It is preferable not to attend the performance with large bags or belongings that might prevent you from comfortably enjoying the experience while moving around the space.
